The 2025 EICMA Milan Motorcycle Show officially opened its doors today, Nov. 4, in Milan. KYMCO, a leading global powersports brand with over 60 years of technical expertise, captured the spotlight with a remarkable showcase of its new-generation models. At the show, KYMCO debuted its world-first "TRI-POWER TECHNOLOGY" alongside a new strategic lineup. Leading the charge are two groundbreaking models: the flagship liquid-cooled hybrid scooter, the People R Hybrid 125, and the smart, eco-friendly commuter, the Agility NX 125. They are joined by the flagship crossover maxi-scooter, the X-TERA 350 . This launch formally signals KYMCO's intent to lead a new riding revolution driven by cutting-edge technology.

A Revolutionary Breakthrough: KYMCO's Exclusive TRI-POWER TECHNOLOGY

Responding to the global trend of balancing performance with energy efficiency, KYMCO has unveiled its new TRI-POWER TECHNOLOGY. This system creates an unprecedented hybrid riding experience through an innovative coordination mechanism between the battery and the engine.

The system features an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and an intelligent control system. When acceleration is detected, it automatically activates the TPT Boost for electric assistance, resulting in quicker starts, lower fuel consumption, and a smoother ride. This provides a 0.3 ps power increase, a 2% improvement in fuel economy, more immediate throttle response, and stronger acceleration from a standstill.

Furthermore, KYMCO introduced the Quad Monitoring System, which monitors over 150 parameters in real-time to effectively prevent voltage abnormalities, circuit failures, and battery damage, ensuring rider safety. This is complemented by the Trinity Balance System, which precisely distributes power between the battery, ISG, and engine to ensure stable, coordinated operation for maximum efficiency.

People R Hybrid 125: Redefining Performance with Hybrid Power

The highly anticipated People R Hybrid 125 is KYMCO's premier demonstration of TRI-POWER TECHNOLOGY in an international model, redefining urban commuting with efficiency and style.

• Design: Designed around the core concept of "Tension in Motion," the People R Hybrid 125 features a forward-leaning, streamlined body with sharp, three-dimensional angles and sophisticated lighting, marking a new evolution for the classic People series.
• Performance: Combined with TRI-POWER TECHNOLOGY and a newly developed 125c.c. liquid-cooled engine, the scooter achieves a combined output of 9.3kW. This results in a 13.6% horsepower increase and a 5% improvement in 0–100 meter acceleration (now just 8.28 seconds). Concurrently, it boasts a 2.2% increase in cooling efficiency and a significant 13.2% reduction in fuel consumption.
• Features: The scooter is equipped with Keihin's 6th generation injection system, a patented water-cooling channel design, and a new CVT system with the integrated ISG. Modern conveniences include a Keyless system, USB-A + USB-C charging ports, full LED lighting, an LCD instrument panel, a spacious 205mm flat floorboard, and large-capacity under-seat storage.

Agility NX 125: The Smart, Simple Choice for Modern Urban Mobility

The new-generation urban commuter, the Agility NX 125, also captured significant media attention. Built on the core philosophy of "Smart Simplicity," it merges clean lines with practical functionality.

• Eco-Efficiency: It is powered by a newly developed Green Power engine, which achieves a 21% reduction in fuel consumption and a 17% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions. Its under-bone engine frame design further enhances stability.
• Technology: The Agility NX 125 showcases KYMCO's core technologies, including a "multi-vector combustion system, offset cylinder structure, roller rocker arms, and low-torque bearings," which effectively reduce friction and energy loss.
• Convenience: The exterior features a modern LED lighting group, a new LCD dashboard, a USB Type-C charging port, and a front-access fuel tank. Safety is paramount, with the inclusion of both ABS and TCS (Traction Control System).

X-TERA 350 : Exploring the Joy of Boundless Riding

Embodying the spirit of "Urban x Adventure," the X-TERA 350  integrates performance with practical aesthetics.

• Chassis & Engine: The X-TERA 350 features a high-rigidity steel frame paired with an inverted front fork suspension, balancing urban agility with stability. Its single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivers 28 ps of horsepower and 30 Nm of torque for on-demand power.
• Premium Features: It is equipped with a Bosch 10.3 ABS + TCS system, a 7-inch full-color TFT dashboard, 32 liters of illuminated storage, and a USB-C fast-charging port, meeting the demands of both touring and commuting.
