April 15, 2008—MOTOPULS, the best-selling Croatian motorcycle magazine, announced the best motorbikes, scooters, and ATVs in Croatia of 2008. The magazine holds the activity every year, representing the reader’s preference and the trend in the market. The new prizewinner this year is KYMCO Xciting 300i, obtaining most reader’s support and becoming the Croatian scooter of 2008.

The traditional vote this year, KYMCO Xciting 300i received a very high ratio, 44% of all the votes — almost every one out of two voters chose KYMCO Xciting 300i as the best scooter in the market, leaving Yamaha T-MAX 500 and Gilera GP-800 behind on second and third with 27% and 10% of the votes. All other contenders were left far behind with less than 5% of votes. This represents big success for KYMCO as prominent brand, and Krk MOTO as KYMCO exclusive distributor, showing that excellent quality and reliability of KYMCO Scooters and top-of –class after sales support of Krk MOTO present on Croatian market since 1996.

Another big success came in ATV category, as KYMCO won prize for the second, with new MXU 400 4x4, only behind Yamaha YFM250R Raptor, and in front of Kawasaki, Honda, and other contenders, which is another proof of KYMCO excellent quality on global, and great work of Krk MOTO on local level.

With every new model, more and more attractive designed and with better quality, KYMCO is making benchmarks for the competition, and these prizes are great wind in the back for KYMCO in their way of entering the premium segment of scooters and ATVs producers, until now exclusively reserved for Japanese and some American and European brands.
