Outstanding Accomplishment
KYMCO was established in 1963. Since then, KYMCO has grown and prospered. KYMCO contributed to the industrial development of Taiwan and is in the lead to meet future challenges. Looking over the past, we must attribute our accomplishments today to the hard working of all KYMCO employees, now and then. Only by doing so can KYMCO fulfill its responsibility to the society and continue to make progresses in the future.

2003 MAR / 18 KYMCO & Iranian company SPMC sign a technical collaboration contract.
  APR Electric mobility scooter (energy) announced and exported.
  MAY / 13 Officially accredited for ISO-9001:2000.
  MAY / 14 Officially accredited for ISO-13485.
  OCT / 27 Awarded by the Bureau of Standards and Inspection the 4th National Stand Award.
  DEC / 3 President Chen Shui-bian visited KYMCO, test ride『XCITING 500c.c.』and write down the phrase,『KYMCO OF THE WORLD. PRIDE OF THE TAIWAN 』 on windshield of this particular scooter.
2004 JAN / 7 President of Republic Democratic of DE SAO TOME E PRINCIPE Fradique Bandeira Melo de Menezes visited KYMCO.
  APR / 5 Electric mobility scooter (energy) passed Assessment on Product Effectiveness officially accredited by the Department of Health, Executive Yuan.
  APR / 7 Officially accredited for ISO-14001:1996.
  MAY / 3 Design, manufacture and sales of motorcycles, ATV(All Terrain Vehicles), small gasoline generators and utility engines officially accredited for ISO-9001:2000.
  MAY / 19 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of GUATEMALA, Excmo. Sr.Jorge Briz Abularach visited KYMCO.
  OCT / 15 Awarded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs for Outstanding Performance in Export.
  OCT / 25 Awarded for Industrial Technology Advancement (ITA Award) by the Ministry of Economic Affairs with the Excellent lndustrial Technology Development Award.
2005 JAN / 04 Vietnam - HOALAM KYMCO MOTOR CORP. Incorporated.
